What changed
Profound no longer sells a self-serve plan to brands
In mid-September 2026, Profound removed its self-serve brand plans. Starter cost $99 a month for 50 prompts on ChatGPT, and Growth cost $399 a month for 100 prompts on three answer engines, both billed annually.
Its pricing page now lists a free trial, with 50 prompts tracked daily for 7 days, and an Enterprise plan at a custom price with up to 9 answer engines. Agencies can still subscribe to a self-serve Agency Growth plan.

Be fair
When Profound is the better choice
Pick Profound if you need daily tracking, more than two AI assistants, SSO or a dedicated specialist, and your budget covers an enterprise contract. Sommet asks ChatGPT and Gemini your questions once a week. It does not track Perplexity, Claude, Copilot or Google AI Overviews.
