What does Sommet measure?

The share of AI answers that name your site. Sommet asks the same questions on ChatGPT and Gemini every week and counts the answers that name you. It is a sample of answers to the questions you track, not a count of every conversation.

Which AI assistants does Sommet track?

ChatGPT and Gemini. Sommet collects their answers from the public chat interfaces, with the sources they cite. AI bot visits also count the bots of Claude and Perplexity.

Where do the questions come from?

Sommet reads your homepage, detects its language and writes the questions a buyer would ask an assistant. You can rewrite, add or remove any of them at any time.

Do I need Google Search Console?

No. AI visibility works from your domain alone. Connecting Search Console or Bing adds your clicks and positions, the Google fixes in Actions, and where you rank for the searches assistants ran.

Does Sommet change my website?

No. Sommet tells you which page to change and why; you make the change. When you mark a Google fix done, Sommet compares its clicks and position with the first full month of search data after it.
